TINY HOME BUILD

We will kick off building on Saturday, October 5, and finish up on weekends after that.

Anyone can help! The coordinating team includes high school students and veterans, and we particularly encourage anyone considering military service to work on this project.

  • Make a difference in your community: The tiny home will provide housing at HomesNow for a veteran experiencing homelessness.
  • Learn about building a tiny home: See what goes into building and work under the guidance of professional contractors.
  • Work alongside local veterans: If you’re thinking of joining the military, this is a good way to hear experiences from people who’ve been there.

The build is supported the Whatcom Community Foundation's #ProjectNeighborly fund.

Use the form below to sign up. You will need to upload two completed forms, the WPJC liability waiver and WCF photo release, so you will need access to a printer and scanner or camera to sign up. The two consent forms are also available in person at the Whatcom Peace & Justice Center (1220 Bay Street).
