OPT OUT of being harassed by the military - A message from AMS Coordinator, Aneesa AhadTo opt out of having your student's information released by their school to military recruiters, complete the "Annual Student Updates" form in Skyward (online school platform) as soon as possible. The due date varies from district to district but to be effective the form must be completed before information is shared. In Skyward, there is a direct link on the left side menu. Alternatively, search by name of the form.
At the bottom of the form is the option to withhold information from recruiters (for high school only). Check that box and e-sign the form. If you need assistance or a hard copy of the form to fill out, contact your school's registrar or front desk and ask directly how to access the form that opts out of student's information being shared with recruiters. The form must be filled out at the beginning of each school year. The deadline varies, but almost always falls within the first month of school.
