I don't know if its because I'm a western student living off campus pretty far from campus or because I only  [...] ]]></description><content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class="paragraph"><strong>How long have you lived in Whatcom County?</strong><br />I've been living in whatcom county for four years<br /><br /><strong>Was it easy for you to find employment?</strong><br />I moved here for a job interview and got the job then continued on with the same company after albertsons closed. So it was pretty easy for me but I think I was just in the right place at the right time.<br /><br /><strong>Do you feel connected?</strong><br />I do now but it took quite a while. I don't know if its because I'm a western student living off campus pretty far from campus or because I only knew a handful of people in bellingham and had a hard time fitting in.<br /><br /><strong>Can you share an experience that defines how you feel about Whatcom County?</strong><br />I feel like less so whatcom county but especially the neighborhood I live in is big on community support. A few years ago I was in a rough spot and I got a knock on my door. One of my neighbors (and good friends, we met working together) and her mother was at my door with a small feel good package for me. This is just one of the small gestures that showed me the meaning of support and how it can build a community.</div>]]></content:encoded></item></channel></rss>
