Susan Chase-Foster taught writing in Oregon and Washington middle schools for 23 years and was a participant in the Oregon Writing Project. She is poet who performs regularly at open mics in Bellingham, and is a two-time winner of the Sue C. Boynton Poetry Contest. Her work has appeared in several Whatcom Writes anthologies, and in Peace Poets, Clover, Noisy Water, and the forthcoming edition of Cirque: A Literary Journal for Alaska and the Pacific Northwest.
